Horizon School Division is looking for a dedicated Family School Liaison Counsellor for the Enchant, Lomond, and Hays schools. This 0.80 FTE position offers flexibility in hours and the chance to support students and families.The successful candidate will provide counselling services to students and families within our schools. Candidates must hold a degree in Social Work or a Master's in Counselling, along with registration with a skilled association.



Experience in counselling children and adolescents is necessary to effectively fulfill this role.Key Responsibilities:Provide one-on-one counselling to students and familiesFacilitate group counselling sessions for studentsConduct classroom presentations on wellness and supportCollaborate with community professionals and attend meetingsMaintain clinical documentation in accordance with legal requirementsAttend crisis intervention situations as neededRequirements:Degree in Social Work or Master's in CounsellingExperience working with children and adolescentsRegistration with College of Alberta Psychologists or related bodyStrong communication and collaboration skillsClean criminal record and child welfare checksMake a real impact on the lives of students with your expertise and compassion at Horizon School Division.
