Apply mechanical, electrical, and building maintenance skills at Extendicare Athabasca in a casual, part-time Maintenance Worker position. Support secure facility operations. Reporting to the Support Services Manager, the Maintenance Worker completes routine maintenance and servicing throughout Extendicare’s long-term care facility. The work covers equipment, furnishings, fixtures, grounds, and facility systems. This position also requires reporting unsafe conditions according to applicable codes and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repair operations Monitor facility areas and complete required repairs Document preventative maintenance programs and maintain inventory Repair mechanical, plumbing, electrical, heating,
and ventilation systems Complete carpentry, redecorating, and grounds maintenance tasks Requirements: Three to five years of relevant experience or knowledge Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and heating systems Ability to interpret equipment and system manuals Ability to read and write English safely Bring broad maintenance experience to Extendicare Athabasca, supporting facility systems, repairs, safety, and resident care environments. #J-18808-Ljbffr
