The Senior Assembler independently completes full product builds from start to finish while providing hands-on leadership to a small team of assemblers.
This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read and interpret shop and technical drawings, and experience overseeing others to ensure high-quality, customized builds rather than repetitive production line work.

Explain and interpret technical and shop drawings to team members to ensure accurate assembly and adherence to specifications.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in a bright manufacturing shop environment.
Collaborate with engineering and other internal teams as needed to clarify build requirements and resolve technical issues.
Meet production targets while maintaining high quality standards and supporting a strong team culture.
Be available for overtime, including occasional Saturday shifts, to support workload demands.
**Essential Skills**
Minimum of 3 years of experience performing full product builds from start to finish, not limited to production line assembly.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting shop drawings, technical drawings, and blueprints.
Demonstrated ability to explain and interpret technical drawings to others in a explicit and practical manner.

Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Formal technical training such as an engineering background, technician diploma, carpentry program, or cabinet-making qualification.
Experience in blueprint reading and application in a manufacturing or assembly setting.
background in carpentry or cabinet making, with an understanding of fit, finish, and material handling.
Exposure to large manufacturing facilities and small-shop environments.
Strong communication skills for coordinating work and guiding team members.
Reliability and consistent attendance, supported by an interest in attendance-based incentives.
**Why Work Here?**
You will join a large, secure national organization that invests in employee growth and offers opportunities to move up and transfer between facilities.

A strong, team-oriented culture is supported by regular company events and a focus on collaboration and mutual support.
**Work Environment**
You will work in a bright, clean, non-union manufacturing shop within a large facility that is home to approximately 18 assemblers, with engineering and sales also located on-site.
The shop promotes a strong team-player culture and regularly hosts BBQs and company events to build camaraderie.
