Due to growth, they are looking at hiring a Financial Analyst - Real Estate on a full time basis. Reporting to the Controller, this role supports accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, and fund accounting across a growing portfolio of properties, development projects, corporate entities, and investment vehicles.This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA-in-pursuit who is entrepreneurial, analytical, and technology-focused, with the prospect to improve processes, strengthen controls, and support strategic decision-making in a rapidly growing organization.***This is a hybrid role requiring you to work 3 days a week on siteThe Key Responsibilities include the following; Support full-cycle accounting, treasury, property and development accounting, tax compliance, and fund/SPV accountingManage cash reconciliations and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and financial reportingPrepare budgets, forecasts, variance analysis,



and property-level financial reportingPrepare financial statements in accordance with ASPE and reporting for investment partners, lenders, and other stakeholdersSupport CAM reconciliations, cost recoveries, and property/development reportingWork with development and property management teams to ensure accurate activity is captured in YardiAssist with audits, tax filings, lender reporting, and communications with external advisorsTo be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications; CFE completed and CPA designation in progress, or in the final stages of certificationDegree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or related discipline1-2+ years of relevant corporate experience; real estate/developmentexperience preferredStrong knowledge of Canadian ASPE/GAAPAdvanced Excel skills and strong Microsoft Office proficiency
