Located in Mitchell, Ontario, we are a Health Canada licensed, FDA approved, and HACCP certified facility serving the Canadian market.Position OverviewThe QA Specialist ensures that all products meet quality standards and comply with Health Canada, FDA, and HACCP regulatory requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The QA Specialist reports to the QA Manager.Salary Range: $55,000 – $60,000 per annum. Candidates considering relocation are encouraged to plan accordingly.Key ResponsibilitiesReview batch records and related documentation to ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures, specifications, and regulatory requirementsReview and approve Quality Control laboratory records, including test results, data sheets, and Certificates of Analysis (CoA).



Ensure that test results and analytical data meet established specifications and acceptance criteria. Ensure that investigations into laboratory deviations, non-conformances, or out-of-specification results are conducted in accordance with GMP guidelines and internal SOPs.Lead and/or participate in investigations of quality incidents, deviations, and non-conformances. Identify root causes of quality issues and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) to prevent recurrence.Organize and maintain quality-related documents, records, and files in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Conduct routine inspections of premises for compliance with Valuable Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and internal procedures.Assist in the review and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.Prepare protocols for process validation and cleaning validation studies based on cGMP standards and BAM SOPs.Assist in preparing reports for manufacturing process and cleaning validations,
