Housekeeping expertise supports residents at Shannex’s Parkland Clayton Park in Halifax, Nova Scotia, through cleaning, laundry, and safe daily service.

As a Support Services Attendant, you will maintain resident areas, support dining service, and handle laundry operations. The position includes housekeeping, food service, and long-term care responsibilities. Your work contributes to established standards across resident rooms, nursing units, rest rooms, and shared facility areas.

Key Responsibilities:

- Dust, clean, and polish furniture, counters, walls, and ledges
- Clean sinks, toilets, and bath facilities thoroughly
- Replenish supplies throughout resident and facility areas
- Prepare carts for fluid passes, snacks, and night lunch
- Sort,



wash, dry, inspect, and distribute laundry

Requirements:

- High School or GED completion
- Minimum one year commercial housekeeping or laundry experience preferred
- Food services or long-term care experience considered an asset
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification considered an asset
- Adaptable availability for days, weekends, and holidays
