This Dental Hygienist position supports current patient assessments, preventive treatments, and preparation for dental procedures. Responsibilities include sterilization, polishing, fluoride treatments, impressions, bleaching trays, scaling, root-planing, charting, medical history updates, and oral hygiene instruction. Saturday coverage is included, with another registered dental hygienist potentially hired for Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete new patient assessments and comprehensive dental examinations
- Perform digital radiography and chart patient information
- Provide polishing, fluoride treatments, scaling,



and root-planing
- Take dental impressions for study models and bleaching trays
- Sterilize instruments and prepare patients for procedures

Requirements:

- Registration with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario
- Availability Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, alternating Fridays, and Saturdays
- Ability to update patients’ medical histories accurately
- Ability to provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
