Keep Chances facilities clean and orderly as a part-time Care Taker, Janitor using floor care, sanitation, and building maintenance skills. Work independently while supporting Gateway’s property standards.

The Care Taker, Janitor supports Chances by maintaining clean, orderly facilities. You will handle janitorial duties, building grounds care, event setup, and cleaning equipment procedures. The position requires communication, customer service, time allocation, and a friendly, polite, patient demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sweep, mop, strip, seal, finish, and polish floors
- Clean restrooms, windows, walls, furniture, fixtures, and carpets
- Gather trash and maintain supplies for cleaning duties
- Maintain lawns, shrubbery, sidewalks,



driveways, and parking areas
- Set up facilities for banquets and meetings

Requirements:

- One year of janitorial experience or equivalent education and experience
- Building operation and maintenance experience is an asset
- Knowledge of WHMIS
- General cleanliness and sanitation knowledge
- General computer skills using MS Office and internet
