Support building repairs and grounds maintenance at Aspira Hunter Village Retirement Living in Saskatoon, working temporary full time from Friday to Tuesday.

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will help maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming residence for residents and staff. Your work includes painting, basic plumbing, woodworking, floor care, and property maintenance. You will also complete reports, handle waste and recycling, and maintain outdoor areas throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete general repairs, painting, plumbing, woodworking, and basic electrical tasks
- Clean, strip, scrub, and wax floors throughout residence areas
- Empty garbage and recycling receptacles at regular intervals
- Maintain building exteriors, grounds, parking lots, and gardens




- Remove snow and apply salt around sidewalks and doors

Requirements:

- One to two years’ experience in a similar position
- Training or experience in repairs, finishes, floor care, and maintenance
- Knowledge of plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and safety procedures
- Customer service skills and excellent verbal and written English
- Successful Vulnerable Sector and Criminal Records Checks required
