**Winder - Day Shift**

We're hiring a Winder to join our transformer manufacturing team.

In this role, you'll operate winding machines, work with copper and aluminum components, and help build custom transformer coils.

Full training is provided, including welding and brazing.
**Shift**
Monday to Friday
Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Overtime available
**What You'll Do**
Operate winding machines to build transformer coils
Read work orders, drawings, and build sheets
Set up and adjust equipment for different products
Cut, bend, and connect wire leads using hand tools
Learn and perform TIG welding and copper brazing
Inspect completed coils and ensure quality standards are met
Use overhead cranes to move materials and finished products
Maintain a safe and organized work area
**What We're Looking For**
2+ years of manufacturing or machine operation experience
Experience setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting equipment
Ability to read drawings, specifications, and bills of materials
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Comfortable learning welding and brazing processes
Ability to work independently after training
**Preferred Experience**
Transformer, electrical assembly, or coil winding experience
TIG welding or brazing experience
Experience with overhead cranes
Custom manufacturing or low-volume production experience

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brampton, ON.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
