As a Self Checkout Attendant, you support customer service and retail operations in the self service checkout area. You maintain clean, secure standards while monitoring activity and completing required checks. The position also includes responding to EAS alerts, documenting failures to deactivate, and managing Scan & Go equipment. You may promote Walmart sponsored programs when applicable.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist customers using self checkout quickly and confidently
- Monitor activity and complete required self checkout checks
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized checkout area




- Respond to EAS alarms and complete required documentation
- Return Scan & Go scanners to designated storage

Requirements:

- Must be 16 or older
- Friendly, helpful customer service approach
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 20 pounds
- Occasional ability to lift up to 50 pounds
