Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic equipment issues at Hepson Equipment, supporting shop and field service. Deliver protected, reliable repairs for customers.
The Service Technician maintains, inspects, repairs, and tests agricultural or heavy equipment to manufacturer standards. You will complete preventative maintenance, component replacements, work orders, and service documentation. The position also involves customer communication, collaboration with Parts and Service Advisors, and guidance for apprentices or junior technicians when applicable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic issues
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and component replacements
- Test equipment performance after completing service work
- Complete accurate work orders and detailed service notes
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers
Requirements:
- Journeyperson Agricultural or Heavy Equipment Technician certification preferred
- Actively registered apprentices will be considered
- Previous agricultural or heavy equipment service experience preferred
- Ability to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Valid driver's licence required
