Prepare nutritious children’s meals at BrightPath Kids in Legacy, Alberta, using food safety, sanitation, and dietary awareness skills. This casual schedule excludes evenings and weekends.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support meal service within an early childhood education centre. You will organize food orders, serve catered meals, maintain kitchen safety, and understand individual dietary restrictions. When food preparation, service, or cleaning is complete, you will assist teachers in classrooms. The role includes washing dishes and other assigned duties while meeting Public Health requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and snacks for children
- Organize food orders when needed




- Serve meals from the daily catered service
- Maintain kitchen safety and sanitation under Public Health requirements
- Wash dishes and assist classroom teachers

Requirements:

- Food Handling Certification preferred
- Meet provincial requirements for childcare employment
- Current Standard First Aid and Infant Child CPR
- Effective time management skills
- Large-group cooking experience considered an asset
