The AFL Wellness Coach serves members at William Lutsky Family YMCA in Edmonton. You will supervise Fitness Centre activities, conduct orientations, deliver Y Thrive sessions, and respond to inquiries. The position emphasizes relationship building, safety, equipment care, and accurate administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Fitness Centre activities and promote secure workouts
- Greet members and anticipate their needs professionally
- Conduct orientations and answer member inquiries
- Deliver Y Thrive sessions and complete documentation
- Clean equipment and address unsafe exercise practices
Requirements:
- Previous customer service experience is preferred
- Obtain Y Thrive Coaching YMCA certification within three months
- Hold First Aid and CPR-C certification
- Obtain Police Information and Vulnerable Sector checks
- Demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills
