This entry-level front line supervisor position manages day-to-day train operations and unionized train crews. You will organize departures, monitor service commitments, and ensure compliance with CN operating rules and governing regulations. The work combines office duties, outdoor conditions, travel, and urgent response.
Key Responsibilities: Manage daily train operations and unionized crew activities
Coordinate lineups, meets, ETAs, and crew needs
Coach employees on secure, productive work procedures
Develop recovery plans for service exceptions
Monitor accidents, incidents, injuries,



and dangerous goods events
Requirements: High School Diploma and valid Driver's Licence
Four years supervisory experience in management or unionized environments
Industrial experience showing increasing responsibility and complexity
Experience working with heavy machinery
Three years railroad conductor experience considered an asset
