Lead retail operations at Michaels in Port Coquitlam, supervising Team Members and supporting inventory management, sales, and customer-focused store execution.
As Assistant Store Manager, you will assist the Store Manager with sales plans, profit plans, KPIs, and Company programs. You will lead trained Team Members, support compliance, develop talent, and help deliver a well-merchandised, well-stocked store. Retail management leadership experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with sales plans, profit plans, and store KPIs
Supervise, coach, train, and evaluate Team Members
Plan workloads, schedules, vacations, and time-off approvals
Manage freight flow and inventory processes
Oversee merchandising, shrink, safety, and omni-channel operations
Requirements: Preferred retail management leadership experience
Ability to remain standing for extended periods
Ability to move throughout the store
Ability to lift boxes and access high shelves
Availability for nights, weekends, and early mornings
Support Michaels store performance through retail leadership, inventory management, merchandising, and customer-centered Team Member supervision.
