Provide emergency nursing care with Vancouver Coastal Health at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, using clinical assessment and care planning skills.
As a Registered Nurse on the Emergency team, you will provide best-practice care independently and within an interdisciplinary team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while supporting client and family-centred practice. The position includes education, advocacy, discharge planning, documentation, and collaboration with health care providers.
Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care
Teach clients and families about illness, wellness, and health promotion
Participate in discharge planning and advocate for clients




Document care and respond to incidents under established policies
Maintain clinical competence and participate in assigned teams
Requirements: Current practicing registration with BCCNM as a Registered Nurse
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement care plans
Effective oral and written communication skills
Clinical, CPR, and related equipment skills
Physical ability to perform position duties
Bring emergency nursing practice, collaboration, clinical judgment, and client education skills to Vancouver Coastal Health’s Lions Gate Hospital team.
