As a Software Development Engineer II, you will design, build, and operate systems supporting Amazon stores across more than a dozen countries. You will create data-quality checks, anomaly detection, and tools that help sellers, vendors, and internal teams understand price data. The work supports deal tools, product-page price history, and AI shopping assistant answers. You will also help consolidate historical price systems onto one shared platform while production continues running.
Key Responsibilities: Design and operate large-scale price and order data pipelines
Build data-quality checks and anomaly detection systems




Deliver shared price-history platform migration components
Move batch processing toward event-driven designs
Prepare systems for Prime Day and Black Friday loads
Requirements: Software development experience at the Software Development Engineer II level
Experience building large-scale data pipelines
Ability to support production systems during peak shopping events
Experience with monitoring, alarms, and capacity testing
Ability to define explicit data contracts
Apply data engineering, quality, and operational skills to Amazon's trusted historical price systems at global scale.
