This Registered Nurse position delivers direct professional care for patients requiring complex mental health services. Using the nursing process, you will coordinate care with patients, families, and the clinical team. The work supports patient independence and wellness through assessed, goal-oriented care.
Key Responsibilities: Complete nursing histories using patient, family, and other information
Develop comprehensive goal-oriented nursing care plans
Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families
Follow prescribed medical regimes accurately
Manage deviations from predicted client responses
Requirements: Current unrestricted College of Nurses of Ontario registration
Recent acute psychiatric setting experience
Current CPR certification
BSc.N. preferred
