As a Principal Software Developer, you will support Autodesk Platform Services Data Models Team. You will lead critical initiatives, influence teams, and connect engineering work with business goals. The work involves Java, Spring Boot, APIs, Agile methods, and cloud systems.
Key Responsibilities: Lead high-stakes initiatives and critical business goals
Own platform capabilities from engineering through support
Guide technical discussions and cross-team decisions
Lead incident investigations, resolutions, and preventive improvements
Mentor engineers and create knowledge-sharing opportunities
Requirements: Eight-plus years designing software, cloud systems, or web services
At least three years in a leadership role
Excellent hands-on Java and Spring Boot experience
Experience with AWS, APIs, databases, and scalable cloud systems
Experience with Agile, CI/CD, Jenkins, and object-oriented design
Bring principal-level leadership, Java expertise, and cloud platform experience to Autodesk’s scalable data services team.
