The Senior Analyst, Real Estate serves as a technical expert for Investment Management and external asset and property managers. You will address complex accounting issues, oversee financial data, and guide two Analysts. The work covers wide-ranging reporting standards and foreign exchange considerations.
Key Responsibilities: Record acquisitions, dispositions, and ownership changes in Yardi
Review and approve manual month-end entries
Reconcile external manager data with HOOPP policies
Prepare general ledger entries and working papers
Guide, mentor, and review two Analysts
Requirements: University degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline
Qualified accountant designation, preferably CPA
Five to ten years’ real estate operations experience
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
Experience with Yardi software is an asset
Use real estate accounting, Yardi, reconciliation, and leadership skills to support HOOPP’s complex investment reporting environment.
