This Senior Electrical Design Engineer works within a qualified services group supporting complex real estate portfolios. The position covers new facilities, existing buildings, tenant improvements, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. You will manage designs, coordinate CAD production, and provide technical leadership while collaborating with architects, mechanical engineers, facility teams, and clients.
Key Responsibilities: Manage multiple concurrent electrical design projects independently
Develop power, lighting, life safety, and backup power designs
Support electric vehicle charging infrastructure design
Coordinate CAD production, authorities, budgets, and timelines
Mentor engineers and improve engineering processes
Requirements: Minimum eight years of electrical engineering and design experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Ontario Professional Engineer license required
Knowledge of electrical and provincial building codes
