This Journeyman position reports to the Manager, Maintenance. You will inspect, repair, install, align, and maintain stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. The work requires blueprint reading, mechanical judgment, computer skills, and attention to detail while handling large equipment parts.
Key Responsibilities: Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings for work procedures
Inspect machinery and equipment for irregularities and malfunctions
Operate hoisting devices and machine tools as needed
Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery
Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
Requirements: Red Seal Millwright certification
Dual ticket qualification
Three to five years of relevant experience
Robust computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to lift up to 23 kilograms
Bring Millwright certification, electrical capability, and safe mechanical judgment to One Degree Organic Foods maintenance operations.
