Our client is a geotechnical and materials testing consultancy seeking a dedicated engineer specializing in foundation design. You will support commercial and industrial construction projects through investigations, design recommendations, and technical construction assistance. The work requires geotechnical analysis, explicit reporting, and effective communication with project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct site reconnaissance and supervise drilling operations
Analyze soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and foundation design
Develop shallow and deep foundation designs
Prepare investigation reports and design recommendations
Support construction through pile testing and inspections
Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant engineering
Minimum five years' geotechnical engineering experience
Strong foundation design experience
Proficiency in PLAXIS, GEO5, or Slope/W
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
Use foundation engineering, geotechnical analysis, and reporting skills to support technically sound projects across Kimberley and surrounding sites.
