Design high-voltage transmission lines from anywhere in Canada while working hybrid, using PLS-Pole, PLS-Tower, and engineering judgment. Support major infrastructure projects through practical technical solutions.
As a Professional Engineer, you will work with CIMA+’s Energy & Resources team on transmission projects. Your work includes overhead line design, structures, foundations, documentation, and project controls. You will operate under the T&D; Lines Leadership Team while supporting initiatives across Canada.
Key Responsibilities: Design 60kV to 500kV overhead transmission lines
Design wood, steel, and latticed line structures
Design transmission line structure foundations
Prepare drawings, reports, specifications, and test plans




Provide technical assistance, field reviews, and construction support
Requirements: Engineering degree or equivalent experience
Minimum five years of transmission project experience
Qualified Engineering registration in Canada
Proficiency with design, analysis, CAD, and MS Office software
Excellent written and verbal English communication
Bring transmission design, structural analysis, and project coordination expertise to CIMA+’s Canadian energy infrastructure team.
