The work includes patient assessments, equipment education, treatment planning, and collaboration with physicians and care teams. VitalAire supports sleep apnea treatments and home oxygen services.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct full respiratory assessments and evaluate patient test results
Initiate CPAP and oxygen therapy for clients
Determine treatment plans with physicians and care teams
Fit facial interfaces for CPAP or BILEVEL treatment
Educate patients and complete follow-up treatment evaluations
Requirements: Registered Respiratory Therapist or Registered Practical Nurse
Licensed to practice with the provincial governing body
Strong cardio-respiratory assessment skills
Valid driver’s license and clear vulnerable persons check
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Use respiratory assessment, patient education, and therapy skills to support VitalAire clients throughout Peterborough.
