About the Role Our client, a forward-thinking e-commerce enterprise, is seeking an experienced Senior E-commerce Business Analyst to join their team in Kimberley. This role is critical for driving strategic initiatives and operational improvements across the e-commerce platform. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders across departments (marketing, sales, product, IT) to gather and document business requirements for e-commerce initiatives.
Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction.
Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for new features and system enhancements.
Develop use cases, user stories, and process flows to clearly define project scope and requirements.
Facilitate communication between business users and the development team, ensuring a clear understanding of project goals and deliverables.
Conduct thorough analysis of e-commerce data and metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Support the testing and implementation phases of new features and system upgrades, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirement documents, process maps, and user guides.




Assist in defining KPIs and success metrics for e-commerce projects.
Proactively identify potential issues and propose solutions to mitigate risks.
Stay current with e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices.
Provide training and support to end-users as needed.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a significant focus on e-commerce platforms and digital transformation.
Proven experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
Strong understanding of e-commerce business models, operations, and key functionalities.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., UML, Agile, Waterfall).
Experience with project management software is a plus.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
