This Diesel Mechanic repairs customer vehicles and all models of trailers within heavy-duty industry standards. The work includes customer communication, work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance. You will help manage job profitability while minimizing warranty claims and re-work.
Key Responsibilities: Repair customer vehicles and all models of trailers
Perform basic welding functions during repairs
Inform customers and managers about completion times and expenses
Prepare replacement parts lists and submit work orders
Maintain inventory, equipment, and a clean work area
Requirements: Two years of heavy-duty truck diesel mechanic experience
Automotive Service Excellence certification or equivalent
Own tools or willingness to purchase required tools
Ability to lift truck parts exceeding 50 pounds
Valid driver's license or CDL with valuable record
