As a Senior Java Developer, you will implement architect-designed solutions for a major financial services client. Your work spans Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, gRPC, Python, and agentic workflows. You will also help developers adopt AI-assisted engineering through prompt engineering and GitHub Copilot.
Key Responsibilities: Lead Java and Spring Boot microservices delivery
Implement production-ready, well-tested services from target designs
Build LLM, RAG, vector database, and agentic features
Design Kafka event-driven workflows and secure integrations
Promote AI-assisted engineering across the developer group




Requirements: Seven or more years designing large-scale enterprise applications
Deep Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API, and gRPC expertise
Python, prompt patterns, orchestration frameworks, and vector database proficiency
Hands-on Kafka, SQL, NoSQL, and caching experience
Experience with containers, CI/CD, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or cloud platforms
Apply senior Java, Spring Boot, LLM, and microservices expertise to scalable banking technology in downtown Toronto.
