Position Summary The Manager, Finance & Operations is the Director of Finance & Operations’ primary support in the management of Financial Services and Maintenance at Mount Carmel Clinic (MCC). The Manager leads day-to-day accounting and financial reporting, oversees the maintenance program and its contracts, and supervises the Finance and Maintenance staff, in keeping with MCC’s mission, vision, values and philosophies.
Qualifications Education Post-secondary education in an accounting program
CPA Designation considered an asset
A combination of education and experience may be considered
Experience in UKG payroll software is preferred
Skills, Expertise And Experience Minimum of five (5) years’ related work experience in an accounting and operations leadership role
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with computerized accounting systems, information systems,



building maintenance software and Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated ability to plan and complete maintenance and renovation projects
Working knowledge of Manitoba Safety and Health standards for maintenance work
Critical Skills Critical thinking, decision-making, financial analysis and problem-solving
Accuracy and attention to detail
Patient, service-oriented approach
Strong results focus, with the ability to prioritize work effectively and efficiently to achieve goals and expected outcomes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with computer systems
