Provide qualified nursing care at AgeCare while coordinating resident services and guiding healthcare teams in a long-term care setting.
The Registered Nurse delivers care according to medical requirements and professional nursing practice. This position supervises Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers. It also supports resident-focused coordination, documentation, physician orders, and shift communication within the residence.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate nursing and other resident services
Lead shift reports with healthcare team members
Record significant changes in residents’ conditions
Maintain charts according to AgeCare policies and standards
Review and process physician orders promptly
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Registration and good standing with the provincial registry
Background in geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing
Knowledge of activation, nursing, and personnel administration
Knowledge of applicable healthcare legislation and nursing standards
Bring registered nursing expertise, resident documentation, service coordination, and team supervision to AgeCare’s long-term care community.
