Canon Canada seeks a Service Technician to install, relocate, deinstall, and maintain complex printer solutions. You will service printers, pre- and post-equipment, and software at customer sites or across the region. The work emphasizes analytical troubleshooting, customer satisfaction, Service Level Agreements, and current technical knowledge of PPS systems.
Key Responsibilities: Perform corrective and preventative printer systems maintenance
Install, deinstall, and relocate equipment at customer sites
Maintain customer satisfaction and meet Service Level Agreements
Escalate unresolved problems through predefined procedures
Maintain parts inventory, diagnostic, and physical tools
Requirements: Electrical or mechanical degree, vocational, or technical school education
Mechanical inclination and technical service experience
Robust analytical skills for equipment troubleshooting
Basic computer, technical, and equipment operation skills
Ability to work rotating 24/7 schedules and travel occasionally
