Provide hemodialysis nursing care at St. Joseph's HealthCentre in Toronto, using evidence-based practice and inter-professional collaboration. This is a full-time temporary opportunity.
The Registered Nurse delivers holistic, culturally appropriate, patient-centred care within Unity Health Toronto. You will assess needs, coordinate care, and respond to changing situations. The position also supports education, documentation, transitions, and nursing practice improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Assess patient care and learning needs
Develop and evaluate individualized plans of care
Coordinate patient activities with inter-skilled teams
Provide health education to patients and families
Document assessments, observations, and care provision
Requirements: Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
Current Basic Life Support certificate
Recent hemodialysis experience required
Nephrology Nursing Certificate preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
