Automotive quality engineering technician needed for a 12-month contract, applying supplier quality and statistical process control expertise. Support production quality standards for a client in the automotive industry.
This experienced technician designs and implements quality policies and procedures during production. The work includes product testing, supplier quality, APQP documentation, and IATF 16949 compliance. You will also support corrective actions, audits, and customer quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Design production policies and procedures meeting quality standards
Oversee testing of processes and products
Apply supplier quality skills across the supply base
Lead containment and corrective action investigations




Prepare Recent Model documentation and customer quality data
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or Science in Engineering diploma
Minimum three years’ quality assurance or quality control experience
Proficient oral and written communication skills
Excel, statistical analysis, and SPC methods proficiency
Ability to make quality problem-solving decisions under pressure
Apply automotive quality engineering expertise across supplier quality, APQP, SPC, audits, and IATF 16949 compliance requirements.
