Lead competitive sourcing and contract lifecycle activities for AltaGas capital projects, using supplier evaluation, negotiation, and commercial risk skills. Support project procurement in accordance with AltaGas Supply Chain policies.
The Sourcing Specialist manages sourcing, procurement, and contracts for goods and services supporting major capital projects. You will execute RFX events, assess suppliers, support negotiations, and align commercial activities with project scope and schedules. The work involves close collaboration with Project Management, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Supply Chain stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Execute sourcing and procurement activities under AltaGas policies
Develop sourcing strategies and competitive RFX events
Evaluate suppliers using commercial, technical, operational, and risk factors
Support negotiations, contracting models,



and supplier recommendations
Administer purchase orders and contracts through closeout
Requirements: Relevant degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
Five or more years of sourcing, procurement, contract management, or supply chain experience
Experience executing competitive sourcing and commercial negotiations
Knowledge of procurement practices, contract formation, and supplier management
Solid analytical, communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
Apply commercial judgment, supplier management, and contract administration expertise to support AltaGas capital project procurement outcomes.
