The local physician group is hiring family medicine inpatient physicians for part time or locum coverage. As an inpatient team physician, you will care for diverse patients at SPH, a 65-bed acute care community hospital. The role includes a minimum of six weeks annually, with flexible shifts available. Physicians may also pursue clinic locum work or optional emergency department opportunities.
Key Responsibilities: Provide inpatient coverage at Saanich Peninsula Hospital
Care for high-acuity, palliative, rehabilitation, and dementia patients




Support family physician scope in optional emergency department work
Work with specialists and an interdisciplinary team
Participate in available mentorship and CME activities
Requirements: Family medicine physician qualification
Availability for a minimum of six weeks annually

Palliative Care, MAiD, or long-term care experience valued
