Provide comprehensive midwifery care with Sea Mar Community Health Centers while serving underserved and diverse communities across Washington State.
Sea Mar seeks a mission-driven Certified Nurse Midwife to deliver primary medical care within a coordinated care team. The position covers well-woman, family planning, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn services. Care follows training, experience, certification, licensure, and Sea Mar practice principles.
Key Responsibilities: Provide primary midwifery and newborn care services
Consult physicians when needs exceed training scope
Provide hospital care as required
Prescribe or dispense medications under Washington authority
Supervise assigned nurses and paraprofessionals
Requirements: Graduate from an accredited training program or equivalent
Board certification in an appropriate nursing specialty
Washington State license to practice medicine
Minimum two years of experience
Community health experience preferred
