Lead environmental consulting growth from Arup’s Toronto office, applying environmental assessment expertise across Ontario projects and multidisciplinary teams.
This Environmental Consulting Leader will provide strategic direction and technical expertise across Canada, the Americas, and other Arup regions. The position requires broad environmental consulting knowledge, with specialization in impact assessment, compliance, remediation, or Indigenous engagement. You will guide environmental professionals, oversee project components, and support work-winning across transportation, government, property, and energy projects.
Key Responsibilities: Lead environmental planning and Environmental or Impact Assessment activities
Manage post-assessment permits, compliance, and construction requirements
Oversee technical studies, reports, teams, and sub-consultants




Support stakeholder and Indigenous consultation throughout projects
Manage client relationships, proposals, estimates, and business development
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, planning, or related field
At least 12 years of related experience
Skilled designation or Canadian eligibility preferred
Strong communication, planning, organization, and negotiation skills
Ability to plan, resource, budget, monitor, and deliver projects
Bring environmental assessment leadership, technical expertise, and client development skills to Arup’s Ontario consulting practice.
