This CUPE Teaching Assistant assignment supports Electrical Engineering Design Project: Part I, course ELG4912, during Winter 2027. You will advise teams across signal processing, hardware/software interfacing, control engineering, neural nets, and modelling and simulation. The appointment runs from January 1 through April 30, 2027, with 130 total hours and English and French as working languages.
Key Responsibilities: Offer consultancy and assistance to electrical engineering project teams
Supervise laboratories for course project activities
Provide scheduled consultation hours for students
Proctor examinations for ELG4912
Requirements: Knowledge of Altera, VHDL, and HC12 assembly
Knowledge of CodeWarrior C for HC12 and MATLAB
Preference for A or better in this course or equivalent
Attend a Teaching Assistant workshop if necessary
Be ready for an interview if considered
