At TD Legal, this senior counsel independently leads advice for Canadian Banking business and control partners. The work covers product development, customer issues, legislation, investigations, agreements, and communications. You will translate complex legal issues into practical guidance while coordinating relevant legal teams across jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities: Lead legal advice on significant Canadian Banking initiatives
Translate complex legal issues into practical business guidance
Assess regulatory changes affecting products and customer journeys




Draft and review customer-facing agreements and communications
Support regulatory relationships, investigations, complaints, and issue resolution
Requirements: J.D. or LL.B. and Ontario law license
Seven or more years of relevant experience
Consumer protection law knowledge is strongly preferred
Quebec Civil law degree or Quebec license is an asset
French communication ability is an asset
