Design 2D environments for Guru Studio’s action-comedy wrestling shorts series, using drawing, painting, perspective, and composition skills. Remote flexibility is available.
As a Props Designer, you will collaborate with the Director and Art Director on a project for children ages 8-11. You will interpret scripts, visualize locations, and prepare designs supporting storyboarding and modeling. Your work will contribute to the project’s evolving visual direction.
Key Responsibilities: Design 2D environments in the project’s visual style
Visualize locations for storyboard and modeling interpretation
Interpret scripts and assess location design needs
Prepare annotated location maps and designs
Provide additional design support, including props
Requirements: Excellent drawing and painting skills
Strong spatial design, perspective, and composition understanding
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop
Thorough workplace design and production pipeline understanding
Previous experience is required
Bring environment design, Photoshop, and visual storytelling skills to Guru Studio’s time-sensitive animated production.
