Merrick seeks an experienced Laboratory / Facility Electrical Engineer for its Life Sciences team. You will support government, university, and private-sector clients through planning, detailed design, and construction administration. The work includes electrical systems design, technical documentation, code interpretation, client coordination, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities: Design electrical systems for laboratory and facility projects
Develop power, lighting, telecommunications, and security designs
Prepare calculations, technical reports, and project specifications




Interpret electrical codes and regulatory requirements
Coordinate disciplines and mentor junior engineers and designers
Requirements: Eight or more years in facility electrical engineering design
Four years using Revit, AutoCAD, or similar software
Skilled Engineer license in Ontario or equivalent
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Canadian citizenship or permanent residence with required Reliability clearance
