This autonomous Electrical Engineer position suits professionals with seven to eight years of relevant consulting experience. You will own assigned projects from concept through completion while collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams. The work supports pharmaceutical, agri-food, industrial, and industrial biotech factories.
Key Responsibilities: Model medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems independently
Prepare project specifications, studies, reports, and cost estimates
Resolve design and field engineering difficulties




Review shop drawings against equipment specifications
Mentor junior E.I.T.s and provide training
Requirements: Electrical Engineering bachelor’s or master’s degree
Seven to eight years of relevant consulting experience
Experience in agri-food, pharmaceutical, or food and beverage industries
Knowledge of electrical regulations, standards, and utility criteria
Ability to travel to project sites
Bring independent judgment, electrical distribution expertise, and consulting leadership to LAPORTE’s Alberta engineering projects.
