Lead commercial cladding estimates for Specified’s current Architectural Facades division, using building envelope expertise and detailed quantity take-offs.
Reporting to the Vice President, Estimating & Preconstruction, this Senior Estimator will lead estimating for commercial cladding and building envelope projects. The role combines detailed estimating, client and consultant engagement, pricing strategy, and process development. You will support strategic growth while building estimating systems, cost databases, and standard costing models.
Key Responsibilities: Lead estimating for commercial cladding and building envelope projects
Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, and contract requirements
Prepare quantity take-offs for labour, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work




Evaluate quotations and develop project budgets and tender submissions
Identify value engineering opportunities and assess project risk
Requirements: Eight-plus years estimating commercial cladding, building envelope, or facade construction
Knowledge of ACM, aluminum plate, metal wall, and rainscreen systems
Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and shop drawings
Experience estimating projects from approximately $250,000 to $10 million
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Bring commercial facade estimating, analytical judgment, and negotiation skills to Specified’s growing Architectural Facades division.
