Build C++ client libraries and tools for Call of Duty and Activision titles from Demonware’s Vancouver office, onsite four days weekly.
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Client Code team, you will evolve SDK components supporting network communication and online services. You will work with game studios and Demonware service teams across console and PC platforms. Modern C++, networking, APIs, and build systems are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities: Design and implement features in C++ client libraries
Maintain Windows and console SDK build pipelines
Improve CI reliability, speed, observability, and instrumentation
Debug client, network, and backend production issues
Mentor engineers in C++, networking, and tooling practices
Requirements: Eight-plus years developing C++ in performance-sensitive systems
Strong expertise in contemporary C++
Experience with CMake or comparable C++ build systems
Knowledge of TCP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, and REST
Proficiency with Wireshark or network observability tools
Bring senior C++ engineering, SDK development, networking, and build pipeline expertise to Demonware’s Vancouver Client Code team.
