Shape FFC’s commercial strategy and operating model while supporting UNITY 2, the integrated fusion fuel cycle at Chalk River Laboratories.
The Associate, Strategy & Business Operations works across commercial development, business operations, and supply chain. You will define markets, partnerships, and offerings; build scalable operating foundations; and strengthen supplier capabilities for first-of-a-kind engineered systems. The position supports executive priorities, strategic initiatives, and future commercialization.
Key Responsibilities: Define priority markets, partners, offerings, and supporting business cases
Design service scopes, delivery models, pricing, margins, and risk allocation
Build operating structures, workflows, decision rights, and tools
Support priority projects through planning,



risk management, and reporting
Develop sourcing strategies and qualified supplier processes
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or related field
Three to five years in consulting, banking, private equity, or strategy
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
Robust structured problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities
Eligibility to work in Canada and obtain required site access
