Our client is looking for a dedicated Sourcing Specialist to join their team in Calgary, Alberta. The role supports competitive sourcing, supplier engagement, and commercial coordination across operations and maintenance categories.
The ideal candidate has procurement experience, robust stakeholder collaboration and negotiation skills, and a commitment to achieving best value while ensuring compliance, effective communication, and workplace safety.
Responsibilities Manage purchasing requests and source materials and services in a timely, cost-effective manner.
Develop sourcing strategies, bidder lists, and supplier qualification processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define specifications, scopes of work, and contract requirements.




Prepare RFQs and RFPs, coordinate bidding activities, and evaluate supplier proposals.
Conduct commercial analysis, lead negotiations, and finalize purchase orders and contracts.
Coordinate internal approvals and ensure compliance with procurement requirements.
Monitor supplier performance, support contract closeout, and drive continuous improvement.
Maintain procurement records, prepare reports, communicate with stakeholders, and promote workplace safety.
