Toromont Cat seeks a Resident Field Service Technician, Heavy Equipment, for full-time permanent field service. The position uses a Toromont Service truck to support customers throughout Muskoka Region and surrounding areas. You will repair and maintain Caterpillar equipment while supporting protected, environmentally sound work behaviours.
Key Responsibilities: Diagnose mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment
Repair Caterpillar equipment within established field time standards
Visit customer sites regularly throughout the Muskoka Region




Maintain trusted customer relationships through excellent communication
Support Toromont’s Health and Safety Culture
Requirements: Post-secondary education related to heavy equipment mechanics
Minimum three years post-apprenticeship technician experience
Experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment
Valid driver’s license; DZ license preferred
421A license valued as an asset
