Lead global service readiness and innovation for Manulife in a hybrid Waterloo role, applying operating-model, product, knowledge, and training expertise.
The AVP, Global People Services leads coordinated, launch-ready services across global and regional teams. This senior leader connects service design, product ownership, knowledge, training, innovation, and regional execution. The purpose is to support consistent, compliant, experience-led delivery while improving scale and colleague experience.
Key Responsibilities: Translate GPS strategy into readiness and innovation priorities
Lead intake, validation, cutover, hypercare, and post-launch reviews
Confirm controls, capacity, technology, data, and training before launches
Coordinate regional readiness across delivery and partner teams




Provide dashboards covering status, dependencies, adoption, and perks
Requirements: Senior leadership experience in global HR operations or shared services
Experience establishing operating models, governance, and launch disciplines
Knowledge of HR service delivery and employee experience
Understanding of digital products, workflow, automation, and AI operations
Executive presence and geographically distributed team leadership experience
