Millwright – Day Shift Monday to Friday Location: Hamilton, ON

Here’s what you’ll do in the role: Perform maintenance activity on plant equipment including pumps, valves, exchangers, loading arms etc.
Operating hoisting and lifting devices as necessary during the repair and installation of machinery
Working independently and with others to solve mechanical and technical problems
Working accurately with numbers, and on occasion doing basic drawings of machine parts
Cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery
Using welding equipment, hand and power tools as necessary
Performing scheduled preventative maintenance work
Observing safety in accordance with government and company standards
Writing maintenance reports
Here's what you bring to the role: Valid 433A license
Gas license is preferred
5 or more years of experience as a Millwright in a manufacturing setting. Chemical, mining, steel, aggregates or other heavy industry is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience operating machine shop equipment, drill press, lathe, milling machine, precision instruments is an asset.
Working at Heights certification is preferred. Ability to work at heights, operate forklift and zoom boom are preferred.
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions year round – approximately 80-90% of work is outdoors.

Reliable and hardworking attitude
Computer proficient - experience with CMMS and MS Office. Experience with SAP is a bonus.
